I found this website whilst I was searching for Chihuahua breeders online. I submitted an application for a puppy named Jane and was subsequently contacted by a woman named Sara Rains. She told me Jane was available and asked me a few questions about myself, my family, and had me promise to take good care of the puppy. Emails were poorly drafted and consisted of many typos. She also claimed to be ex-military and the wife of a pastor. She agreed to sell me the puppy and there was a short email discussion regarding logistics. My suspicions arose when she stated that PayPal payments were only accepted if I used the friends and family payment option. This would mean that I would not be able to submit a claim or have my money refunded should there be an issue. Given I was unable to meet Sara or the puppy prior to payment (they were located out of state) I did not feel comfortable using the friends and family option. I even offered to cover the seller fees that PayPal charges and wait until the money hit her account before beginning the registration/shipping process, but she insisted I use the friends & family option. I declined. Finally, she gave in and said it was okay to send the payment via the goods & services option, but the next day I noticed my payment was refunded and received an email saying they were unable to confirm my payment and were going to find the puppy a different home. This was a clear attempt to bait me into paying via the friends and family option, but I refused. DO NOT buy a puppy from this website! I was smart enough to insist on using the goods & services option and scared her off, but I am sure that if I had not done so I would have been $520 out of pocket! BEWARE!
