The scammer posed as a pet breeder and offered to ship a puppy to my father’s home. They “cut the price” by 50% because of a special sale going on. After paying $500 through Zelle, the people told my dad the puppy would be shipped to our city the next day. The next morning, My father was texted and asked for an additional $1400 for a crate and shipping cost. At this point, He realized He was being scammed.
