I received a check with my name on it in the amount of $1874.48 claims to be from Saint Mary’s School 900 Hillsborought st Raleigh North Carlonia. The return address on the USPS envelope that was sent Priority mail is 46030 Mc Bride Ave Belleville, Mi! Nice try scammers, I’m taking it to the sheriffs department.

Scam Check??

Someone named Becky P Lynn sent a check for $ 1,634 to my wife for what we don't know. The check is supposedly from Lincoln County North Carolina. However, we don't know a Becky Lynn or anyone in the that county. Note that this check was sent priority mail to us and contains no instructions or explanation. In looking at other comments on this website it appears to be a scam.

USPS letter received. Inside of envelope check for 2800.00 with my name on it. The letter was a copy with bad copy. It had gray ink marks. The letter was addressed to survey agent. Instructions buy @ 1 store 3-400.00 gift cards. 1 store 3-400 gift cards. At each store spend 25.00 for your self. 350.00 left for commission. Call to let the scammers know that you are at store. Once purchasing cards take pictures of receipt with pictures of cards and text to 585-714-2921 or email to [email protected]. Keep the cards until further instructions. I knew that something wasn’t right because the check had my name on it but address. It didn’t have a expiration date on it. I found this website and knew that someone else had been through this. I wanted to make others aware. Please share so that no one is taken. I am going to destroy check and letter.
