Placed an ad on craigslist for an item in Los Angeles, received a message/text from a potential buyer from a New Jersey phone numbers, saying they would send a cashier's check and when the fund's cleared they would arrange for a mover to come pick up the item. They included "extra" money to pay the mover ($1,455.00). I contacted the supposed bank on the fake cashier's check and the check could not be verified and I was told it was counterfeit. Contacted potential buyer who has not responded. USPS does not have the above address listed as valid, but searching it on Google maps shows its near the NY/PA border near Lake Erie. A business search for Bedford inc, shows no listing (active or inactive)
