was offered a job dogsitting for 375/week. Received a check (clearly looked fake) in the mail for 1,950 dollars, was told to cash the check and wire transfer the difference to a third party. Had not done any work yet.

When I asked to see a picture of my employer and to send back the entire check and be paid after my first week of work, no response. Just requests to complete the "task" assigned. "employer" would not take no for an answer.
