`They indicated that the trial was not for the product but for a trial period, which was not what was advertised when the items were purchases. The $5.95 and $4.95 costs were for shipping and handling only. They said the trial period was 14 days, but it takes 10+ days for the product to arrive. The product shipped costs the full price of $86.95 each. So, once you receive the product...4 days later they charge your credit card and the subsequent months. Non of this was on the website where I purchased the product...NO WHERE! Unfortunately, I cannot find the advertisement feed in FB to support this statement. However, I am not the only one who was scammed in this way. Many others per this following website https://bellalabs.pissedconsumer.com/ had similar experiences.
I told them that the products were not open, and I'd like a full refund. They refused to provide a refund indicating that they cannot take back skin care products despite the bottle being completely sealed with the original plastic packaging unopened. They hung up on me. My credit card company could not help either. So I'm stuck with the cost.
Worse is that by the time I figured this out, the second shipment was charged and delivered. It took me a while to figure this out because my credit card is a joint with my husband who takes care of the bills. We saw the charge for $4.95 and $5.95 as expected. But the time between seeing the charge for $86.95 x2, him asking me if I knew what this was, figuring out where it's from (because it doesn't say Bellacelle), and calling the credit card company and their customer service....the second shipment was charged although not yet arrived. I also ask for a refund on that since I didn't receive the product...no success with Bellacelle. What a scam! What a fraud! Theives!
