This call comes 3 or 4 times a week and the caller always has a thick Indian accent. They say they are from the benefits department but don't say with which company. Then they say I qualify for free medical equipment and ask me to confirm my information. They know your address, phone number, and medicare number. They just want you to confirm it. A lot of times they say that the equipment is already on its way, but nothing ever arrives. I never confirm our deny anything and usually try too see how long I can keep them on the phone. I know that as long as they are on the phones with me, they are not scamming someone else. Sometimes I play along and just give bogus numbers and information and sometimes I pick a fight. They get very indignant and argue back, not realizing that they are getting nothing from me and are not getting info from other people. They use a different number every time they call so it's no use blocking their number.
