Emails were professionally written and seemed legit. Then they got sloppy with the page layout of the PDF file for an employee agreement contract.

Received email asking if interested in a "virtual assistant" job. A phone interview was set up, which lasted approximately 2 minutes. They then sent a basic application to fill out and then sent over a contract to be signed, along with a request for a photo of my driver's license.

I received a email about a job offer for Best Business Consulting Group LLC for a remote customer service position. I thought it was legit because I have been putting in tons on applications on Indeed for a remote job. They went in depth about what all they offered like health insurance bonuses paid time off flexible hours etc. They said my prior experience was what they were looking for and asked if I accepted the position and sent me a employee contract. I did sign it and sent it back . The next step asked of them was a photo id .so I did send that as well. This was all coming from a lady name Jessica Richardsoclaimed to be in the human resources department. She then sent email stating it goes to another department which would be her manager Lindsay rose and that she would help me finish my paper work so I could get started . Shortly after Lindsay sent me a email stating she was excited for me to join the team just a quick couple things to finish up and she wanted my direct deposit information so i could get paid and sent me a direct link to what she claimed was the irs for my w 4 however upon clicking the link it didn't direct me to the IRS it sent me somewhere else and then I knew I had been scammed . I did send a email back stating nice try and told them I would put it out there to let others know of what they done . Now that I try to look them up via Google I can't find them anywhere .
