I tried to purchase a puppy through https://bestcompanionpups.com and everything seemed legit at the beginning with a contract being signed before payment. I made the payment and immediately was informed that I needed to pay an additional $1100 for "insurance" that would be "refunded" as soon as the puppy was delivered. This is when my suspicions were raised. I contacted my bank and they informed me that this may be a scam and to not pay the additional fee. I asked for a refund of the original payment for the puppy as I did not feel comfortable with going through with the purchase. He said that I would have a refund within 24hrs. It has been 2 days since and he has ghosted my husband and I. We have not heard back from him.

I am so annoyed, I let myself be scammed by bestcompanionpups.com

I paid them $550.00 through PayPal but, PayPal won’t give me their information or cancel the payment even though they see their bank account and who owns it. Never send a payment through friends and family on PayPal.

They now had a fake shipping company contact me for additional monies to ship.

A few email addresses they gave for payments which they use Zelle and PayPal.
