I was online shopping for my grand-daughter''s birthday present. I found sheets on www.bestdealstteltd.com. I was asked to activate a Paypal account. I found two charges the next day. I called Best Deals, they said they didn't get the money. I called "Paypal" 888-464-8414. I spoke to a rude man with a terrible accent which I could hardly understand. He told me there was a security problem with my Paypal account, and I needed to go immediately to Giant Eagle and purchase Google Playcards, which would fix the security problem. He told me he would stay on the line with me. I went to Giant Eagle in Poland, OH. I thought something might be wrong as he kept telling me not to talk to the clerk. I bought one card for $200. I went to the car, and he asked me for the code off the back so he could fix my security. I was on hold for 20 minutes. He came back on the line and told me there were more issues, and I would need to go back and buy four more cards. I told him I had only $6 left. He told me to overdraft my account, and he would give me $100 to cover the overdraft fees. I told him he was a scammer. He said if I didn't care enough to fix my credit there was nothing more he could do. He also said it wasn't Paypals fault if I was shopping on unsecured sites. I was crying, I wasn't even supposed to go out in the Pandamic, but he said he didn't care, that I needed to go right then.
