I’m writing as an unfortunate victim of puppy scamming. We read through articles about scans and the guy checked most of the good boxes, but not all. But, there were ‘shipping delays’ and when our puppy was supposed to arrive at 2:30am, we got a sketchy text saying we needed to wire money to Ecuador. Thankfully, we’ve only lost $700 that apparently we don’t get back from PayPal because it was ‘personal.’

I clicked the contact us tab on the westie website since I was looking for a puppy. He emailed more information and also texted. He said his name was Hugo Dorane, and his wife was Martha. We had pictures and videos, reviews from past customers.They have a website and everything. https://bestwesthighlandterrier.com/ We paid $700 on PayPal. They then used South Pacific Logistics to ship our puppy with a tracking number and everything. I only realized later that its the wrong South Pacific Logistics, using southpacificlogistics.info. Anyway, if there’s any way to report both of these frauds, please let me know. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.

This site list puppies for sale. I contacted them and they sent over photos and even did a very brief facetime with me of the puppy. Things got suspicious when they sent me an invalid AKC registration number that did not match the dog. I eventually did a reverse image lookup on the images they provided and one came up on pinterest. Upon further investigation I ended up finding the real puppy on instagram and even the photos they used. I even found the video they setup with me during the facetime. Please take these guys down. I was literally seconds away from sending them PayPal.
