Today, 3/3/24, I purchased a Chihuahua puppy named Zoey from their website. The "breeder" emailed me and texted me several times during the process with photos of the puppy and information about the puppy. We agreed the puppy would be shipped, via airplane, to me in Florida. I paid them $850.00 via Zelle under the name Timaya Brewer at the email address of: [email protected] ($650 for the puppy and $200 for the airline shipping). After they received my funds, they claim to have brought the puppy to the shipper, Legacy Global Logistics, to be put on an airplane the same afternoon. Legacy Global Logistics called (971-213-4763) & emailed me ([email protected]) to confirm they had the puppy and it was being readied for the flight. Several minutes later, Legacy called again to tell me I needed to pay the "breeder" an additional $950 in cash for pet insurance prior to them putting the puppy on the flight. I contacted the "breeder" and was told that this is the way it works and that I must pay the $950 to them via Zelle. At this point, I realized the entire transaction was a scam and I told the "breeder" I wanted them to immediately refund my $850. Of course, they never responded after that.
