My dad speaks Spanish, she said ti was a recorded conversation, I took over and saw red flags. They had no interpreter available for my dad. And we never received a letter prior to her contacting my father. She had on record she had previously spoken to him. I said he was not refusing to pay and we could write a check and pay it slowly because we do not have the money.
She said that I had to provide a bank account or a credit card to enroll in a payment plan to be left alone. I understood it might be true because my dad wanted me to pay her the first installment, but I excessed my dads rights under the 5th amendment and refused to answer or provide personal information without me researching her.
I googled Virgina Brown, Better Business B. and the phone number I was provided 1-833-543-1769
but when I googled all that I found Virgina P. Brown with ***** ********
And a voicemail answered in Spanish, and it was not the Virigina I had spoken with totally different voice. My father is afraid to be sued due to lack of payment he separated from my mother and is now taking ahold of his taxes and life, so he literally is afraid that what Virgina said to scare him into paying is true because it was alot of money and he did not understand if it was all for the taxes he owes or a fee or what he was being charged for entirely.
Because we did not receive a letter in the mail.
Something is not right.
