Then in order for me to cancel this prescription from my computer they ran me thru some sites to remove the Microsoft information and as it continued to run they connected me to a person saying they were from ScamPulse.com and in charge of refunding the amount. They proceeded me to a form that said Better Business Refund Form and I had to fill out my information, but when I came to the amount that was deposited it was $39,900. I told them the form didn't accept the period and he continued to say that I was told to not make a mistake that the form would not go back and correct the information and that he could correct it later.
Then he asked to open up my bank account that I mentioned in the form and I did. He proceeded and transferred the 39,900 to the account which at that time I saw on the screen. Then he told me to read the bottom of the page and said that I was responsible for the difference in the amount since I was only suppose to be refunded $399. I kept asking how I can return or cancel the deposit he then directed me to the bottom of the screen and it said I was not allowed to tell anybody about this incident and that if I did was would be responsible for 40% of the amount that was taxable. He then told me in order to refund the amount I would have to go the these stores, Best Buy, Target, Walmart and CVS and get amounts in the $1000 and that he would be on the phone with me the whole time and I would give me the card # for him to get the amount. That is when I realized this was a scam.
I even asked him if he was really with ScamPulse.com and he gave me answers that I found odd. So at that point I shut down my machine and got on another machine and took a look at my account and in fact the deposit was not even there. So I contacted the bank to make sure that I didn't need to do anything on their side regarding this.
