Type of a scam Online Purchase
In response to a website advertising AKC Registered Chow puppies for sale we negotiated the purchase of a puppy. The name of the company for the website is Better Day Chow with the owner being Lisa Cox. Per their instructions we made payment by Walmart to Walmart wire transfer in the amount of $750.00 payable to ******* ***** Houston, TX 77083. We sent the wire transfer from a Walmart in Huntsville, TX at 10:46 a.m.

Today we received an email from the alleged transportation /delivery company representing their selves as EMS-Worldwide Delivery stating that we must pay an additional $720.00 for an appropriate crate. They said that the money will be refundable by cash when the delivery was made.
The alleged delivery company said they will not ship the dog until they have received the $720.00 and to send by a Walmart to Walmart wire transfer. We attempted to get back to the dog breeder and our calls were ignored. Our last and final communication with the dog breeder met with response nothing they can do about it we have to take care of it on our end. They will not refund our money or make arrangements to have the puppy delivered.
When we made in-depth inquiries into the alleged delivery service validity. We discovered that it was in essence the USPS. At this point in time we do not believe the U.S. entity would do business like that. We are concerned that we have lost our money and that this was a scam. We are attaching all electronic communication including emails and texts converted to email and receipt of Walmart to Walmart to wire transfer receipt.
We are heart broken over this turn of events. We are retired senior citizens on fixed income and saved our money in order to purchase the puppy.
