BHGbase, a blockchain platform with web site https://bhgbasein.com/ and their apps in Android and Apple Store, committed scams, fraud, and other illegal activities by luring virtual currency customers to deposit into their platform and then seize customer assets was scammed by a lady under the alias Tram Nguyen aka Nana (Facebook with ID https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100054669476904 and WhatApps phone number (281)397-3988 (a nonfixed VOIP number) to deposit $150,000 into BHGbase for investment with a promise of low capital gain tax and good ROI. After my deposit of $150,000, the scammer helped me through trading on "DELIVERY CONTRACT" from the platform for few times and I gained 10% on every trade that happened only a few minutes under her guidance. A day later, she told me there was a "New Year Rewards Promotion" from BHGgase and told me to sign up for it. Here is the excerpt from the BHGbase website and apps: "As we step into 2024, a new year full of opportunities, we're gearing up for our exciting journey towards going public. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and trust in BHGbase. To show our appreciation, we've prepared special deposit promotions for both our new and existing customers. Let's spread joy together and make everyone aware that even in 2024, BHGbase is unstoppable in its growth. We are committed to growing together with you! Join us for the 15-day #BHGbaseNewYear #Event, open to all eligible new and existing users. Event Details: -Accumulate deposits of 100,000 USDT and receive 3,000 USDT. -Accumulate deposits of 300,000 USDT and receive 15,000 USDT. -Accumulate deposits of 500,000 USDT and receive 35,000 USDT. -Accumulate deposits of 1,000,000 USDT and receive 90,000 USDT. How to Participate: 1. Contact BHGbase customer service during the event period to claim your reward and select the recharge position. 2. Rewards will be distributed within 1-3 working days after claiming the event. 3. The charging time is based on the system account time. Event Period: Start Time: (UTC) January 5, 2024 End Time: (UTC) January 20, 2024, BHGbase reserves the right to the final interpretation of this event."The scammer then told me to request the 300,000 USDT level and she would add her $150,000 to my account to receive the 15,000 USDT reward so that we could both benefit and split the reward after the event. I contacted the BHGbase customer support and signed up for the 300,000 USDT as there is no rule and nothing to lose but to match the accumulated balance with rewards. Afterward, I became suspicious of the trading scheme on the "DELIVERY CONTRACT", tested it myself, and found that the system may be manually manipulated for customer gains to lure in deposits and the system may contain many fraudulent data. Then, I researched the platform's origin and realized that BHGbase contained many false claims, e.g., FDIC insured, and false app information on Apple App and Android App stores. After that, I started withdrawing my money, but BHGbase decided to seize my assets through their illegal "New Year Rewards Promotion" unannounced rule and told me I could not withdraw my money but had to deposit more money to my account to meet the 300,000 USDT balance. Also, they will seize my assets if I cannot meet the 300,000 USDT balance after January 20th, 2024. The lady scammer also refused to fulfill her promise to add her money to my account and still tried to persuade me to sell my stocks and deposit more money into the account to meet the 300,000 USDT reward level and also sell all of my stock and move money into the account for future investment. She said that to remove the restriction, I needed to come up with more money in the account even after the promotion expiration date. She was finally exposed as a scammer on 1/30/2024. I have all the evidence about the scam between her and BHGbase and filed a complaint with the FBI and FTC. I also have photos of her potential colleagues in Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, and Los Angeles areas. She claimed she and her parents reside in Houston or Sugar Land, TX.
