BHR GmbH Imposter Reports & Reviews (1)

The scammer emailed me with a job proposition with really good pay and benefits. They then referred me to communicate with Stefanie Temme via Telegram. I have added some pictures of the beginning convo. "Stefanie" will then seek to get personal information such as name, address, etc. She will insist that the whole interview be conducted via Telegram without calling or using zoom. Then they will hire you and give you more information about the company and your position. I was "hired" for the Data Entry Clerk, but the title kept changing as they referred me to another person to fill out my employment papers. They also had other jobs listed in their email such as Content Marketing Manager, Administrative Assistant, Sales Associate, IT Manager, and Customer Service/Call Center Representative. They used the name of a real company based in Germany for their fraud. The scammers really covered their bases with the employees. I google the employees and found them on Linked In and social media, but no content was added to their social media. Once they hired me, they had me message Stefanie the next day at 8 am. Another company representative Maria Tsioutsia email me a W-4 form and company papers to fill out. The forms were for my personal information such as my SSN, driver's license, etc. I was given instructions to fill out those papers that day, email them back to Maria Tsioutsia and then contact Stefanie the following day at 8 am. I never filled out the papers because I was very suspicious of the whole thing and didn't trust them. Then the following day a check came in the mail for $4,682.00. I was instructed to deposit the check and send them the teller receipt. I called the bank that the check came from, Investar Bank, and asked them if the account that I was drawing from had sufficient funds. The bank clerk said that the account didn't have sufficient funds. So I messaged Stephanie and said that the check was fake. The reply I got was "so you came up with that on your own"? I told them that I had called the bank and they said the account didn't have sufficient funds to deposit the check. The reply I got was "you were supposed to follow didections". Then two seconds later the entire convo was deleted.
