A too good to be true deal in boat trader leads to an email response from someone claiming to be out of the country and needing to sell his boat through an intermediary who has a trucking company in Maine called Bickford Transportation. They have copies of the title of the boat matching the assumed identity of the seller. The trucking company has a website with a working phone number that goes to a cell phone. Person answering cell phone has a very heavy russian accent. He is very eager to help this customer sell his boat and acts as intermediary requesting money to be wired to the account of a fictitious manager, not the company. They request a copy of a drivers license and last 4 of ss prior to sending contract and setting up escrow. They request funds be sent to a person named Jerrod Smith.

The title documents to the boat are clearly stolen.
