Scam Report entered on behalf of victim by ScamPulse.com Employee: Victim was contacted via email for a personal trainer needed to assist with a photo sports photo shoot event in Colorado Springs from Aug 27th - Sept 16th. The name of the Director was Lewis Craddocks who had initially reached out via email with a job description. The victim was sent an upfront check in the amount of $4115.00 to cover part of the job and to pay a wardrobe specialist. The victim was told they would be paid an additional $4000 after the event was concluded. The scammer requested a deposit of $500 from the fake check. The check is expected to bounce. About two days after the deposit, the victim received a text message from the director asking for screenshots of receipts and proof of deposit.
