Upon requesting the audit and specific documentation to review the charges, Mr. Riney reacted defensively and refused to provide the necessary information in a timely manner. This lack of transparency and cooperation further raised my concerns about the legitimacy of the fees being charged.
After my requests were ignored, I asked for the return of my vehicle, which Mr. Riney had been using without my consent for nearly two months. Unfortunately, I was unable to take immediate legal action, as he initially had my consent. The police were unable to assist further due to this circumstance, which could not be considered stolen and it took an extended period to locate my vehicle, since the gps was removed and my account was deactivated. Ultimately, the truck was found abandoned at a gas station. The vehicle was damaged, and items were removed without my authorization.
Given these circumstances, I believe they have done this before. Furthermore, San Juan Xpress and Mr. Riney have engaged in unethical business & unfair/ deceptive trade practices.
