"Bill" called me on behalf of my current FHA mortgage, saying he was calling on behalf of the FHA. He had my mortgage information in front of him, knew my street address and also that my loan was FHA. He wouldn't tell me who he was working for, only that they were a contractor on behalf of the FHA. He kept asking me to confirm my info and I did not. Instead, I asked how he had my financial info and he said its up on his screen. When I asked him again, he hung up.
