This gentleman has a posting on Craigslist in which he is hiring for QA agents starting at $16.00 per hour. He says that you will be working from home or can work in a office. Offers you a company car, company phone and gas allowance. States that you will be making calls for a client. A person from HR calls you and hires you. You do an assessment and training online supposedly in which he says he will pay you for 3 hours at $17.00 per hour. He also collects $50 from you for your background check and drug test. With my experience, when I got started, I received an email stating that I was being moved to the HR department. My job was to read a script, hire the person and email them with information on where to show up for an orientation, in which at that time he collects $50. He's collected the $50 either by debit card or money order. He also has multiple places where he holds orientation so it's not consistent. The work schedule is 10am to 5pm. When things don't seem to go the way he wants it on that particular day, he then tells us we can clock out for the day and we will receive PTO. Several have been affected and they are being told they will get paid. He doesn't have the money.
