They use AnyDesk software and have you install it on your phone and computer. I saw them check off "Never show any incoming requests" and "Enable privacy mode," meaning they were giving themselves permission to lurk on my computer without permission.
They also had AnyWhere installed on my phone and saw me checking my bank account balance. The rep kept asking for me to click the back button on my cell phone bank account info so he could see my bank account number. I kept asking "why" and he kept repeating "Click back," at which point I hung up.
I then immediately went to my PC's control panel to remove AnyDesk, at which point we started battling for control of my mouse to prevent me from deleting AnyDesk.
By the way, half way through the conversation, they asked me the CVV code of the last debit card I had purchased ink with. They knew the last 4 digits of the card and were asking for the CVV cidce.
Do NOT deal with these people - TOTAL SCAMMERS.
