Hello, I purchased a African Grey bird from the site birdsnow.com that an individual name Rose advertised. Her contact info is as follows 2402336282 But never received it. In her advertisement she stated she was located in Brooklyn. I asked if my husband and I can come over to see the bird. She said no because she just moved to Maryland four days ago due to her son's death. I asked her can she send me photos ? She did, after that she asked me do I want them, I said , I wanted one but let me discuss this with my husband. I returned her text and stated that I wanted one. She text me with all the information that was needed. Name, address, number and email address. She also stated that I have to send the money via western union to a fongang kum. The advertisement was $600.00. I sent the @600.00 via western union, she than called me and said someone will contact me from a pet courier as the bird will be shipped to me. Someone did call me by the name of Carr Smith 239-7036543. When I looked at the number it had a Montana area code. Red flag. He said he sent an email confirming my delivery. It was sent by flypawscourier.com. I confirmed the delivery. The delivery was schedule for 7-29-16. He said he will contact me in the morning. I received another email from him and it stated my bird was grounded and I needed to get pet insurance worth $1800. I called him and told him that this is a scam and wanted my money back. He told me that he will sue me for animal neglect. I than reached out to Rose and she said she's at work and didn't know what I was talking about. She also said *** ***. I've contacted the appropriate authorities. However they redirected me to you guys. I reported this transaction to Western Union as well. Please look into this matter.
