I watched an ad on a website advertising an arbitrage method to make profits. When I used the exchange website they introduced in the video ad, it deducted the amount of BTC I was going to exchange to ETH but did not send it to my wallet. When I contacted their online chat system, the person told me it needed a few hours to get confirmed. Once confirmed, they asked me to double the amount to see it in my wallet. At this point, I realized they were scamming me. She also offered to fill out a form for a full refund, but the link she gave me redirected me to a strange website that was obviously fake. I informed customer service that I would report their website, and immediately, they closed the chat window and stole my money.
