Dear BBB:
Attached is a summary of events that have occurred with “BitDeals”, with whom I have a dispute open.
From this vendor, I ordered 54 4TB hard drives, 2 LSI 9211 HBA disk controller cards, and 2 sets of the cables for the controller cards – totaling $1042.00. The invoice for this order arrived January 5, 2023. The website states orders ship within 48 hours.
Since that time, I’ve been repeatedly assured my order shipped, that I would receive a tracking number, but neither the tracking number nor the merchandise ever materialized. Calls went immediately to voicemail at both the main warehouse and both of the owner’s cell phones. Emails, texts, and voicemails went repeatedly unanswered. The owner made multiple excuses and multiple promises – none of which were honored.
I believe my order never left their facility and that they took my money and ran.
Today, the owner lied in writing and said he responded to credit card's chargeback request. Credit card support confirmed to me, today, they have received nothing.
Ultimately, today, in email to me, the owner claimed he told Discover they “recalled” and cancelled the order.
I researched “bitdeals complaints” on the internet today, and found a long history of the same tactics on other customers going back years. Excuses and claims made to me are not unique but instead well documented.

Claims there has been flooding down there. My order is packed and ready for pickup. He uses “Grasshopper” answering service and they are not routing calls. I should have an email with my tracking number by the end of the day – if not, call him back.

You filed a charge on the day the shipment was to be picked up by carrier. This way you have the product and your funds.
If you were sincere and truthful bout the details, you would have just submitted the communication.
