To **** ***; This is a copy of what I sent to my bank and to Bank of America also sent a more detailed copy to NM State Police.
Subject wire fraud:
All correspondence with BK Equipment LLC. Was accomplished through emails and a wire transfer. (I have every email that was sent and received.)
On May 28 th I found a website that listed Heavy Equipment loaders, tractors farm machine, etc. at www.bkequipmentsales.com. I looked at all the sites on their web page including the reviews, it was very well done very professional. I choose a tractor a Kubota L2501 with a back hoe attachment.
I contacted their office though email at [email protected] and told them in the email what tractor I was interested in and what would be the next step. In their return email to me this is what they sent to me.
(To start the sale process we'll need the following details:
- Units to be purchased; Stock ID
- Buyer's Full Name
- Buyer's Full Address
- Delivery Address
- Buyer's Phone Number
- Buyer's Photo ID copy
After that we'll send you the bill of sale and payment invoice. The machine will be delivered to your address.
The payment must be submitted by bank wire transfer to our bank account and the shipping will start only after your payment is successfully received and verified.
You will also have access to a refund policy on this transaction.

Once that was sent the next email from them said: “We've received all the information needed to proceed with the purchase, we'll email you the paperwork tomorrow morning.”
The paperwork that was sent has the wiring instructions on it. On May 31 I wired the money to them to complete the purchase from the ***** ****** ** **** ***. At this time there were no questions asked of me or conversation with the lady teller about wire fraud, she just made out the paperwork and had me look it over and sign it.
An email was received on June 1 stating that the funds had been received by their bank.
I have attached two copies of the paperwork that they sent to me. The invoice has the wiring instructions on the bottom left side. The other paperwork is the bill of sale.
The following email was received.
“Your payment has been received and the ETA will be on June 8 2023 between 4 pm to 6 pm..
Please let us know if this date works for you.”
That date was fine with me but tractor was not delivered on that date. I emailed them and their response was that they were having trailer trouble. We set a new delivery date of June 13th at 1 pm. Again no delivery on that date either. I called the phone number on their web site and it would disconnect all the time.
I called a business, called B-K Equipment in Oklahoma and asked them if they were affiliated with BK equipment in Socorro, NM. They informed me that they are not affiliated with them at all and that they had several calls from people looking for their equipment that they had purchased from BK in Socorro, NM and never delivered.
I have also attached some information from the web about the IP address and some people that have reported this as a scam.
I have a case number from the Ridgecrest PD which is ************ also waiting to hear back from the State Police in NM for a case number through them. We also contacted the local Bank of America.
If you need the 36 emails I have, I will be more than happy to supply you with them.
