They offered to rent five of our weeks at $5,500 per week to a company, Yanzhou Coal Mining Co., that it was interested to provide vacation opportunities to their employees, partners and clients. Everything went well until they ask for money to pay for the maintenance fees for the five weeks so the resort could release those weeks, promessing that the buyer will reimburse that amount, also they requested more money to pay for a temporal document required by the Mexican authorities. They also said that the money from the sale and the reimbursed amount have been deposited in escrow until the transaction is was done. Later on when we thought it was close to close escrow and receive our money they requested more money to pay for mexican taxes for the sale for been in mexican territory, as they said. At that point we said no. They continue insisting saying that they will try to negotiate. They went silent for a while, the person handling our transaction wasn't there or not responded and another person took over. I called Mexico trying to talk to some authority there to find out if all these transactions and permits were real and legal. The person I talked to said that they do not request any of the permits or taxes they are charging us with. I also called the bank, in Mexico, where they said they had deposited the money, HSBC in Mexico City, but nobody could find the account number or any account at our name. They took $7,125 dollars from us and nothing happened since January 31, 2019, date on which we received the letter of intent from them.
