Received an email from a recruiter for a remote customer service position. I was asked to download signal, a messaging website and converse with (13192596983) Julius Turner. Immediately his language threw me off, every sentence started with “kindly” and ended with “understood?” I’d seen other scammers using this kind of language before. Everything feels very copy and paste. I did an IM interview. He refused to meet with me over zoom or phone call. He asked what bank account I used but not for any other information to do with the account. The locations listen on their website are for random apartments in California or big office buildings in NYC and Denver, but when you look into what businesses are renting space there, Blackhorn Ventures name never shows up. When asked about this he got defensive and kept saying it wasn’t a scam, which is almost proof that is was a scam instead of being honest and answering my questions, and continued avoiding my questions. After that he stopped responding.

Did you ever actually receive a job offer or any further information? So curious as to what the outcome is because I just had the same exact thing happen with the same Julius from Blackhorn Ventures.
