I was contacted by "Alex Jones" from Blaze Staffing Solutions about a position at Verizon that had an amazing compensation package. We talked and I explained I was interested. I did not know this was a scam at this point. Alex said I needed an Agile Product Owner certificate and ensured I used a company called ExpertsLearn by offering me $600 off th3e $1100 fee. I paid the other $575 using my debit card through Paypal. I took the exam and received the certificate. When checking with my supervisor and others in the Agile world, come to find out this certificate is not valid and/or no one has heard of it before. I'd like my money back.

Alex contacted me after I passed the exam and set up 2 interviews with Verizon, one on Jan 18 and one on Jan 20. No one ever called me to discuss the position and I can't reach Alex now.

I feel gullible and used but wanted to get this out there in case Blaze Staffing Solutions is a real company and this guy is just using them as a front, or maybe the whole thing is a scam.

Is there any way to get my money back? I tried contacting the bank and they said they couldn't do anything.
