The company was on puppyfind.com. There were several red flags. 1. He initially told me they were based in Raleigh, NC. Then days later in another email told me they were based in Charlotte, NC.

2. He told me the dog was $550 but their website said $500. He said the shipping was free but listed several additional fees. When asked about the free shipping, he changed the price back to $500. He wanted the money sent via Zelle app.

3. When asked what vet used. He said it was a private, retired vet.

He became very upset when I decided not to purchase the dog after reading other scam reviews.
