Received an email from a Cedrick saying he would send me a check to cash and I could keep $700 as payment and send the rest to someone who was to wrap my vehicle. Just because of this scam

I was scrolling through my email, nothing unusual about that. What was unusual was when I stumbled across a blue bell ice cream sticker advertising. $500 a week to drive your car with a decal on it. Sounds legit? It’s not. I applied to see what’s going on with it. A week later, I got a message regarding the “job offer” at first it was sound too easy and too good to be true. Sent it to my brother and it spotted quickly it was a scam. I asked valid questions and the person kept referring to a “company”. When I asked about the company he went mute and blocked me. NOT GOING TO LIE, I almost got got because I was in desperate need of a second job. BASTARTS😒

Scammer asked me to advertise a sticker on my car for money. They sent me a check for $2850.50. The Scammer asked that I call 901-676-0928 to clear the check for cashing. Next, an Installer with this company will come to my home and place a decal on my car, at which time I am to give the installer $2000.00 from the check and I keep the rest as my payment for displaying their decal on my car.

I received an email to place a decal on my car. Today, I received a check to activate the check so that it will be cashable. Next, I take $800.00 + a $50.00 bonus from this check sent to for $2850.50. Then, a person will come to my home to place the decal on my car. Next, I have to give the person who installs the decal the remaining $2000.00.

I was offered monthly income to use my vehicle for Blue Bell Ice Cream.

I received a letter and a check with instructions to deposit the check. A portion of the payment was my income and the remaining money was to pay someone to come out and apply the vehicle wrap.

I contacted Blue Bell and they stated this was not an authorized advertising campaign.

I received a text message from an email address ([email protected]) stating "ADVERT JOB, WITH $600 WEEKLY" then an image detailing the offer. I will include a screenshot of the texts. Basically they were offering money to place Blue Bell Ice Cream company's logo on my car. They wanted me to provide my personal information. I called Blue Bell Ice Cream about this and they are receiving calls about this scam. It is a scam.

I got a text stating that I can make $500.00 weekly for just driving with a vinyl decal of blue bell ice cream on my vehicle. I had to give them my name, address, phone number, vehicle model, and email. Sadly, I fell for it. Thank goodness that I did not give them bank info or such. But I know they can still do damage with what I gave them. Be wary

Got a text offering $500 a week for wrapping my car. No body text, sent as a picture only. Asking to give name, address, make of car, etc. Thought it looked sketchy.

I received a random text message with this heading:

“$500 JOB PAYMENT”

I’ve attached a copy of the Full text message. This gist is that they inform you that Blue Bell Ice Cream (BBIC) is paying individuals who own a vehicle $500 a week to advertise for BBIC via “Vinyl Decal” attached to your vehicle. It goes on to request personal information.

I reached out to BBIC & they said it was NOT affiliated with them in any way & have received “inquiries” from others who received the same message. They further advised me to NOT RESPOND to the text or open any attachments etc. They also referred me to this website & encouraged me to report to appropriate authorities! Very helpful!

It disgusts me that in these trying financial times for a lot of Americans, that scammers will prey upon the vulnerable! There will be a lot of people who fall victim to this (I assume eventual Identity Theft) SCAM without checking it’s legitimacy! PLEASE WARN FAMILY, FRIENDS, LOVED-ONES, Elderly etc!

Be Safe, ALWAYS check Too-Good-To-Be-True offers... they’re USUALLY just that!

I had two people messing me from text. I knew from start it was a scam so I ignored them, but here to let others know it is still happening. They offered both times on 500 dollars and to give vehicle model, address, name, etc. I don't want someone falling for this scam. Also, they both used gmail accounts not even with bluebell.

Job for blue bell wrapped driving campaign, for monster enery drink auto wrap advert promo using dallas semi trailer repair check and reaching you through text no actual info given exept for about the job, what it pays even if you just send in only the resume they'll send a check and instruction with no other information

Got text message and then sent out check and letter. Looked up the business on check it's an engineer company out of NY. The return address is a heavy equipment rental company out of GA. The phone number on letter in out of MI 231 224 6296. Name on letter is Ronald Miles.

Inquired about auto wrap ad, they messaged me back and a few weeks later I received a check in the mail with letter advising me what to do but did not do what they said. They keep messaging me to find out about the check. I told them I was wanting to wait until check clears bank.

Wanted me display decals for Bluebell ice cream for 500.00 a week, I would get my 1st check for 2800.00 but they sent 3,651.49 i, was to deduct my 500 and the rest goes to the specialist in his account for when he came out to put the decals on my car the bank on the check was Community Development Bank in Walnut Creek CA and the company on the check was Broadway &Main Properties LLC in Modest CA, I called Bluebell icecream and found out it was a scam the name on the letter with the check was Ronald Miles, number they texted from 209-224-0267

Think the initial job offer was in a txt then the person started emailing with demands and sent a check and all I know is once I said that I was interest the next day a Check of 4800 came and they said deposit immediately then tell the bank I need it in 24 hours and let them know when it clears and then they would give more information

Check showed up and with instructions and I said this look like a gimmick let me call better business bureau
