I was contacted by a Mrs. Peggy Rhoads yesterday regarding an online position. She explained everything very thoroughly, telling me everything from the job basics to every piece of equipment i would need. I did disclose personal information during the interview, but i quickly noticed these messages werre automized, which, having a script isn't entirely unusual for interview processes, but this was my first clue something felt off. I messaged during later hours claiming to "..have some more questions," to see if she would respond (knowing the business's hours help), and she did respond around 730pm, which leads me to believe i am being scammed. I have a follow-up with her this morning at 8am, and i guess we will see if that happens. Until then im just keeping a close eye on my bank account.
