Bluefield Puppies Reports & Reviews (2)

I was about to pay a deposit for an adorable puppy that sounded a little too cheap. The company was offering to fly him to me for a low charge. Because of my hesitation, I decided to do more research before I made the deposit. After taking a reverse picture, I found the same image on another website, listed as a female, and cheaper. Then I found this page. I feel so hurt! Scammers need to get their lives right. I can’t imagine showing up to the airport to pick up a puppy and how upset and disappointed my family would’ve been. I could never do that to someone. Shame shame.

I wanted to buy a dachshund puppy. This place has a bunch of red flags

First, their phone number goes straight to busy signal, for the whole week I’ve been trying to call, then I reached out via webpage contact form and got an immediate reply asking about myself wanting to see if I would be a good dog owner. I replied to that email and got another reply from them within a couple minutes, this email stated I would be a good home for their dog, listed vague vaccine info, had poor wording, talked about how to send electronic payments (Venmo, or zelle) and came across over 3 DIFFERENT EMAILS, as in- the conversation just kept going (no pauses, or sorry I hit send on accident), instead of being in one email. This is not a professional way to communicate. I had also inquired about their price increase which was listed earlier in the week as $500 for dog and $150 for shipping, and is now listed as $650 for dog and $150 shipping. This dog is 10-11 weeks old, most breeders drop the price of puppies as they age, not increase, because they want the dog gone!!! They never acknowledged my question about why the price increased in the past couple days.

So I read the site bio again. They claim to be “Bluefield Puppies” but later in the bio refer to themself as Greenfield Puppies, and then again later as Bluefield puppies. They say they are in Los Angeles but the bio talks about Pennsylvania vet laws. And the bio claims to be in business since 2000 but the website year is listed as 2021.

So I get on the ScamPulse.com site to see what’s going on. They aren’t accredited, there’s one other scam listing with a tag for minidappledachshund, and another listing when searched by phone number but that was reporting a scam for Aussie pups a few months ago. I bet if I do some more digging with various tags I’ll find more info.

I replied to the last email they sent me, telling them I would love to speak to someone personally to discuss this dog, because I would not conduct this type of business only through email without hearing someones voice anyway….what do you know, after many rapid replies, it has now been 2 hours and they never responded back to me.

This has too many red flags for me, as broken hearted as my girls will be to learn that adorable pup they wanted so badly was likely a scam, we will find a legit breeder and see a dog in person before purchasing. They probably pulled this pups pic off someone’s Instagram page or something.

I’m glad I didn’t send them any money.
