They offered me a job through email and asked me to reach out to their manager through Skype. Upon being "hired" they claimed to have sent me a cheque through email to buy necessary equipment for my "home office" as it was a remote job. When I received the cheque in my email I immediately knew it was fraudulent as it claimed to be issued by the Bank of Nova Scotia as a Cashier's Cheque, but Canadian banks don't do Cashier Cheques.
