A couple of months ago, I received an UNSOLICITED, paper "BluePeak Credit Union Mastercard Select Rewards Card" in the mail. I shredded it, along with the "congratulations" letter. In today's mail, I got a "May 2024 Statement" with an account number; the balance was zero. I called and told them I suspected this was bogus, certainly unsolicited; they began asking for "information to make sure that I was indeed the cardholder"; I gave out ZERO information and told them to close the account, further stating that if ANY charges were EVER accrued, they would pay them because I didn't open the account and they needed to shut things down. They "transferred me to the fraud department", who never picked up--what a surprise. I don't know if you know of them, but here they are.
