I received an email to my work account about filing a Beneficial Ownership Report, which I am legally required to file. This website offered to file for me and used the domain BOIR.com, which appeared to be legitimate. It said I needed to pay a $149 filing fee which I did and I was told I'd receive confirmation within 7 days. This was on 11/8 and I have still not received confirmation. Only after receiving more reminders from other legal websites to file my report did I realize that this is a scam.
