We received an Instagram ad for Bombas socks end of the year sale. The site looked like a reputable site—maybe an outlet site of bombas at worst. After placing the order I received a confirmation email that was from “VIP CUSTOMER SERVICE” and then a shipping confirmation from https://m.17track.net/en/track which was all in Chinese. The socks arrived after three weeks (rather than 2-3 days) in a black bag that had been wrapped in packing tape. No branding, nothing to identify it as from Bombas. I went back to the site and found grammatical errors and spelling errors as well as vague descriptions of who they are “an international company”. Please take down the site and help other people not get tricked!
