I looked up "mold in vents" & their site popped up offering $99 vent cleaning & sanitizing & $69 for dryer cleaning. I filled out the response for appt, they called my husband to book for 10-16-24. The agent called in the morning to reschedule for 10-17-24 but then called later to say he was 20 min away. Husband told him he already rescheduled, agent said "ok, bye". Agent arrived early, with call, & counted vents, giving $477 est.. I explained website & he dismissed & said he could give me dryer vent cleaning free, total $378. I questioned again and showed website with name. He said they are advertising, sent business to him. I stated we called THAT company, for their prices, not his company & prices. Guy said maybe they aren't in our area. I showed him the map on website with numerous locations in my area. He was typing in his phone & then suggested I call the number on website. I did & lady with Asian accent answered & couldn't get the company's name correct, nor could she understand when I told her the website was promising a company & prices but they sent another company w/different prices. I hung up. I told the sales guy that came to forget it & that I wanted the paperwork with my signature.
