I was approached via text by what seemed to be a text message system via CalJobs. I’m on California unemployment. It’s required to apply for jobs and list my personal info such as a resume on the CalJobs website. Either EDD > CalJobs systems are compromised or someone within is leaking peoples data to these scammers. They sent a Google form requesting my personal info. I thought it was legit and sent my California ID. I thought more and more after the run around and no offer letter and realized this is a total scam. Someone please look into how CalJobs is involved.
