Check Fraud Scammers?

Similar to the other complaint on July 21, 2022 against this company, I was solicited via email from: "Steve Cork" [email protected] regarding an online work from home position "We think you will be a good fit for the Remote - Data Entry Clerk / Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Job interview Associate at Bosworth Hospitality Partners LLC." His instructions were to use Google Chats to communicate with "Mrs. Molly Boykins, the Recruitment Manager for Bosworth Hospitality Partners LLC." After answering a few questions and providing basic information about myself, she said I was hired, then told me the equipment needed- stating the company would pay for the products via check sent to me. My full name and address were provided through google for this position. I told her at the end I believed this to be a scam, and she never replied.

Online work from home position for file clerk. Used google chat to communicate. Equipment was needed for position and the company stated they pay for the products needed. After communicating for a few days on google chat a fedex tracking number was sent from Dawn Crabtree to deposit for purchasing the products. Got to my bank and they looked into the check that was sent for 6,900 dollars and after 10 minutes of researching information, the bank teller stated to me that the check was fraud. The bank teller also stated that scammers send checks by fedex. My full name, address, and current place of employment was provided through google for this position.
