I was also contacted about a sales manager position for a jewelry company based out of France. I had signed a contract and everything, it actually looked legit but the pay seemed too good to be true. Also the “interview” was over email..? Anyways, I was told to have a 1 month probation period before I was to get paid. I’m 3 weeks in and all of a sudden I have been ignored and no responses. My job was to look up certain types of jewelry for clients , I never spoke to the clients one on one, it was always through the “senior sales manager”. I assume it’s a scam seeing as how the senior sales manager has not contacted me in 2 days (we regularly emailed every day). And she number i was given in the original email for the job by the “HR Manager” doesn’t exist as I tried to call it today.
