Website for selling Maltipoo puppies that has photos of pups and sires, lots of info about their practice and care of their dogs, reviews and testimonials and photos from former clients- all seeming to highlight how great they are. They offered a great price- $800 regardless of size or gender. It all seemed too good to be true- so I investigated. Both phone numbers I received ( one via text and one on the contract that was emailed) came up as spam when I looked them up. 307-417-5211 and 307-460-6285. When I looked up scams on the Better Business Bureau I found similar complaints about this same address: 613 River View Dr, Cody, WY 82414. The name of the website and breed of dog changes, but it’s the same scam. The scammer will want payment via a cash app like Venmo or Zelle. Money will be sent and no dog will be received; usually because of some “shipping confusion” which can lead to the scammer asking for more money. These scammers are [censored] that are taking advantage of peoples need to connect and love a precious soul. They need to be stopped.
