Type of a scam Debt Collections
When i was able to speak to someone, the lady told me that I had an account that i took a personal loan out and that it was now in collections. I asked her to send me reference numbers/ account numbers/ any information so that i could take it to the bank directly. the lady then told me that that wasnt necessary and that i could just make payments to them. I told her i would not make any payments without doing my research. She then said that the person that could send me that information was not in office and they would send it another time. The next day i got more harassing phone calls to my phone as well as my family.
