But, I received ANOTHER text that morning, stating that the movers wouldn't be able to come, and they were issuing me another check for over 1400 dollars. They wanted me to keep 140 of it and then route the rest of the money to someone in PA or MA. This has NOTHING to do with me. I live in Louisiana and the items are in Louisiana. They said nothing about when the movers would be coming. I refused to route any more money or cash the next check for 1400 plus dollars, and they got very irritable with me and started threatening me.
I then realized I was in the middle of a money laundering scam, and they didn't give a flip about the items they were supposedly "buying," from me. Then they demanded the 100.00 that was supposedly mine for the items back and wanted it through Zelle instantly. I was at work with patients and unable to respond. I refused, stated I would send them a check instead. The second check (the one for over 1400) I wrote VOID across, sent them a picture, and blocked their number.
Again, she threatened me with the FBI, etc. all over 100.00. I am not sure if a crime has been committed here, because I didn't loose any money, only time and aggravation, but I thought I would start with you guys. Thank you for your time.
