I received an email from Paypal stating an unknown person (Amy Menas) sent me a money request for $599.99. There was only an option to pay now, and not decline. The Google phone number for paypal was not in service. I called the number on the email (it looked real), and next I realize scammers accessed my laptop and apparently copying my data. I hung up and called my bank and while on the phone with my bank the scammers transferred money from my savings to my checking. I alerted the bank person and it did not go anywhere.

I had two bank accounts connected to my PayPal account, USAA and Wingsfinancial. I ultimately closed my PayPal account, changing passwords, factory reset on my computer, and activated alert messaging with Experian and Equifax. TransUnion has a paid service. I am concerned that these imposters have my personal information.
