It seemed a little strange from the beginning. The website was so generic, I couldn’t quite tell what the company did. It must be social media. Then, I checked, and their social media had 0-20 followers on each platform. They had a singular (super odd) Glass Door review. Things seemed weirder now, but maybe they were a start up? They’d posted every available job you could think of on Linkedin within 20 hours from last night, but they said they’d been hiring for three weeks.
I’m reading the emails last night when I’m trying to figure out what I’m interviewing for and where the building is. The office was in a building downtown “on the 8th floor to the right” with no company name on the door. I realize that their HR guy’s name was JON SMITH. The last straw was when I realized they’d said I’d be meeting with “Emilio,” who apparently went from the Hiring Manager to the CEO in an hour. At least, that’s how his titles differed in the two emails.
Needless to say, I have since backed out of the interview.
