My wife and I scanned the OQ codes with our phones but the website was a “404 website not found” link.

They had delivered a paper to me saying that I needed to file by 12/10/2023 or there would be penalties charged to me.

It was a compliance letter about reporting to the Financial Crimes Dv of Business Regulations Dept. The letter asks to go to the website to update ownership information about our business to avoid penalties. I scanned the QR code to check out the website and it went to a "page not found" screen, so i looked it up and saw that it is just a scam.

Official looking letter received with my business name and a Notice ID number. It states that I am required to under go further federal filing requirements and that failure to do so will result it daily fines of $500.

I received the uploaded letter addressed to my LLC. I entered the URL and received a warning that the address was not safe so I immediately closed it and did not enter any business information.

Got a letter in the mail wanting information on my ownership of my company. Letter claims to be from the United States Business Regulations Department. Claims its a new federal requirement penalized by up to $10,000 and imprisonment.

Received a letter stating there was a mandatory filing requirement regarding business ownership information, and that there was a penalty for noncompliance. A website was given for me to go to, and a QR code was also provided as an alternative. I did not go to the website or capture the QR code, as I noticed that the website was not a secure address, nor did it have a domain of .gov in it. I googled the address first and the primary results indicated that it was probably a scam as well. Then I saw your ScamPulse.com posting about it.
