I am a marriage counselor. The email asked if I could see him and his wife while they were on vacation in Washington visiting her grandparents. They wanted to pay in advance so they wouldn't have to carry money with them. He knew the fee was $100 per session--the total of all the sessions they wanted was less than $800 but "his associate" Robinson Wright sent a check for $2,900. When I alerted him of the problem he said his associate made a mistake and was supposed to send some of that money to him. He urged me to send the balance quickly as he is in Mexico now and needed the money for return ticket.
