She also found him on FaceBook. He quickly made his profile private when we went to the police.

I fell in love with one of the kittens. However my suspicions were raised (I won't say how). I checked how long the flight would be to SF. 3.5 hrs, however I couldn't find any flights TO SF that were direct. It would mean at least 5.5 hrs in the air. I told him that. Asked him how long the flight was. He mimicked my research (3.5 hrs). Then I told him to tell me the airlines and the flight # and we had a deal. No more Brent. I didn't pay him as I found another website for maine [censored] and had the same suspicions. It was bogus as well. Wanted money up front. When I asked for their address I looked it up. It was the CA Supreme Court. That should tell us all something.

I was scammed by this person, for 750 dollars, a Ragdoll kitten named Kandi, I was believed by this person’s taking words. So I send the money, and he/she told me that it will be next day delivery. So I had to leave my job for the next day, so I will be able to have time to pick up the kitten. As long I waited until 5PM afternoon, I still don’t get any response from this person, so I started to call and text. But is totally gone. So I realize I was scam. I’m so angry.

They are still scamming! I am looking for a Ragdoll and came across their site: playfulragdollshome.com. I was surprised that the beatiful kittens were only $600 since they typically start at $1200 to $2000 and up. In addition, the collection of cats did not make sense as they were all different breeds/colors. Legit catteries have a mom/dad with similar kitties. Since I don't live far from Oklahoma where Brent Pellow the breeder lives, I insisted on picking up my kitten ... well of course, since Brent-scammer at playfulragdollshom.com does not actually have any kittens, he insisted on 'delivering' the kitten. AFTER he collected payment of course ... His website looked legit except for the mismatch of kitties ... He did not reply for a long time and I finally googled the url and found this site - so thank you! It is irritating because we all search for the perfect pet, get exicited and realized we are dealing with a criminal! Be careful out there.

Tried to scam me today - 6/21. Thankfully, I checked out him out on the internet before I replied back. Just a bad gut feel about the formed e-mail.

This guy is a total scammer! Good thing I caught the scam in yime before we transferred money over. I repeatedly asked him for a picture of the kitten i wanted and he was unable to produce it. After asking multiple times, I looked up his name and found this community of victims. So sad, in these times, covid19, that people are out here scamming people.

We have had the same experience today, unfortunately. Do not interact with this website or seller. I can’t believe I fell for this. I’m angry about the money, but more upset that they are exploiting kittens. We have filed a fraud complaint but I doubt anything will come of it. How can we get this website shut down?

Susan, I am so glad you did not send money. It appears pet scams are a thing right now which is so sad.

If anyone else is scammed and reading this, file a report with the Better Business Bureau, FTC and FBI. Even if you don’t send money, please report these people. The more complaints they have the more change of finding them.

We inquired about a kitten posted on the website. A few hours later we received an email that gave details about the kitten, including pictures, a video, and details about the adoption process. The email even asked us about our adoption qualifications. After several back and forth emails, we sent money via Zelle for the kitten and shipping - our mistake.

I had the exact experience as the first person’s. Total scam! Took my money. Said they never got any money from me, then I never heard from them again no matter how many emails I sent. I am searching for a ragdoll kitten and found this breeder online. I reached out to them and they provided me details on the kitten, photos, videos, and information on how they would ship the kitten to me. They requested funds deposited in a internet transfer app Zelle or CashApp and they would arrange transport to my home and contact me in 2 hours with the details. We transferred $750 into their CashApp. Then we did not hear from them again. No response to my email, text, or call (the line just rings with no machine)
